26 posts · Joined 2023. #32 · Feb 21, 2024. Having owned a sportster in the past (883 custom with 1200 conversion ) the fury is a much better balancing bike. Traded the sporty in on a softail standard and after lowering it that was a well balanced bike, comparable to the fury.

53 posts · Joined 2009. #5 · Jul 28, 2009. I love my Fury! However I do have a few small gripes! First the stock exhaust is way too quiet! I know most bikes these days come with quiet stock pipes. If Honda was thinking outside the box with the fury they could of put some better sounding pipes on.

I put lithium battery in Harley last year, no issues, when it cold like 30' agm would struggle.now I turn on headlight for a few minutes before I try to start it's been flawless. If fury ever needed battery changed I'd go with the smaller lithium choice just because it's plenty.
Here ya go, it was Speedy; I don't think a true 1800 will fit in frame. My winter project is to start working on my big bore monster. since i got a spare engine out of a wrecked fury. and i picked up two good VTX1800 jugs, im going to start working on making a 104.77mm bore thats vtx1800 jugs bored out 3mm over. with 10.5:1 pistons. and use the stock 104.3mm stroke. this will give me 1798cc ...
