Hello I am unable to select Ray Tracing on my Intel Arc A750 GPU in WoW. I am using the latest driver (5074), released yesterday, and installed Clean (fresh install). I have ReBar enabled. I have the latest Windows 10 updates. I’m using DirectX 12 mode in WoW with my GPU specifically selected in the settings. I would really hope the team at Blizzard can communicate with the driver team at ...
Hi, I’ve recently acquired an Intel Arc A770 which has been awesome and the game has been running great, however as of today (patch 10.1) Ray Tracing is now “unsupported for graphics related reasons” when it was working a few days ago and VRS mode is also greyed out stating that it “Requires a shader model 6 capable graphics card” The Arc A770 supports D3D Feature Level 12_2, DirectX ...

Mocha-11359 March 13, 2024, 2:32am 13. Ray Tracing was supposed to be in at launch, it’s one thing they’re incredibly behind on. Since it’s been almost a year they’ve likely already postponed it multiple times to prioritize game development instead. I don’t understand what the point in getting an RTX card is if you aren’t at least ...
Start button>Settings>Update & Security>Check for updates>update to 2004. Windows key + R>“winver”>enter to make sure you’re on 2004. NVIDIA GeForce Experience>Drivers>Check for updates>GeForce Game Ready Driver Version: 452.06. WoW>Menu>Settings>Advanced>Graphics API set to DirectX 12. Then you can enable ray-traced shadows.
or1dash-2526 January 16, 2022, 3:19pm 15. Full ray tracing offers a much greater visual experience than what we can see in the current game. The differences might not be big enough for some to sacrifice their fps, but it all depends on how you want to play. 3 Likes. DoomGuy-11953 January 16, 2022, 5:57pm 16.
I am unable to activate ray tracing. Options are grayed out in the settings in game. My card is a RTX 3080. I have Windows update 20H2 installed, latest nvidia drivers from January 7th, and Graphics API set to DirectX 12…
I don’t believe the GTX1080TI has the capability of ray tracing. The GTX-class GPUs (10xx, 16xx) don’t come with hardware-accelerated raytracing using dedicated RT cores like RTX family GPUs do. However, DirectX supports a more CPU intensive ray tracing using the normal GPU cores but at lower performance. Because it’s not a driver-native ...
ray tracing is just a way new graphics cards can handle shadows and light effects that supposedly makes them better. It’s like getting a better graphics card. It makes the game look and potentially run better but isn’t cheating. Pretty sure ray tracing is pretty taxing for a computer though.
Runs FLAWLESSLY on my RTX 4070Ti at ULTRA Settings on both Ray Tracing and Graphics QUALITY playing in 4K on a 48" OLED, granted I am only seeing 55-60FPS, but to be honest, I’m not playing a 1st person shooter, I don’t care about anything over 60fps anyhow.
