I use Charter.net email for my Microsoft sign in account. Mail doesn't work with the auto configuration and doesn't give me an option to delete it or even an option to go to advanced settings to fix it. This occurs on multiple laptops and also seen the same question on several forums specifically for Charter, with no answer.
To do that, go to FIle --> Account Settings --> Email tab --> select the account --> Change (as per the attached screenshot) As for "disappears after 4 days" - that pretty much sounds in line with what they posted on their website - i.e. remove things after 3 days could mean it gets deleted on the 4th day. I can't send emails from my Charter/Spectrum account. I've confirmed all settings are correct. Charter says it's not their issue. I've restarted my phone, no difference. I've deleted the account from my phone and am now trying to add it again, and now after entering the account and password it's stuck on verifying. iPhone X running iOS 13.5.1.
