An OEM key will be cheaper because it's a single activation for a single computer, when you buy from a big box or the website it's a multi activation license. Grey market are stolen or extra keys from Hardwear being sold assuming it's a legit key.

That means your Windows 11 pro product key would become invalid eventually and you'd need to get a new one. That's why it's best to just get retail as they are the versions off the shelf that are made to be sold to individuals so they don't get inactivated. Yes they are real and you can buy one and it will give you an active windows 10 key, but there is no guarantee that it won't be disabled in the future. The money to buy the keys might have been gotten by illegal means so windows might confiscate the keys. 2. Reply. Share.
