  2. Adobe’s new terms of service - Invasion of privacy? - Nikonians

    www.nikonians.org/forum/topic/319-29559-29559/adobe-s-new-terms-of-service...

I don't keep any of photos on the web that are shareable, all on my local drive and on a backup as well as on the library backup on an apple cloud. If I had to share with a customer, password protected on a site. The problem I will have is the number of photos stored as .psds. This silliness from Adobe needs to stop.

I contacted Western Digital customer support (they own SanDisk) about the card failure. After some conversation back and forth, they sent me an RMA and a prepaid address label to send it back, which I did. Today, I received a new 128GB SanDisk Extreme Pro CFExpress Type B card. Thanks for standing behind your product, Western Digital. Jim

Group B is for things that are stationary - landscapes, architecture, macro subjects that don't move, etc. Group B has fewer on the fly changes. Among them are bracketing, stabilization on/off (tripod work) subject recognition is frequently off, metering, etc. The i-menus for Group A and B do share some i-menu cell assignments and positions.

The First Severn Bridge. The Severn Estuary has an astonishingly high tidal range of 15m - which is off the upper end of the scale on the map above by a factor of more than 10. In fact, it is the second largest tidal range in the world, just behind Canada's Bay of Fundy with 16.3m. Visit my Nikonians gallery. RE: The First Severn Bridge.

  6. IR Conversion (RKGREBE)

    www.nikonians.org/forum/topic/214-15913/ir-conversion

Jim, The D800 has LiveView, the D300 does not. Both the D300and D800 have LiveView. I had my D300 converted to 720nm IR and had the AF calibrated to my 18-85 DX lens.

Stuff like the 28-80/f3.5, and even 35-70/f2.8. Moreover, I. haven't done the arithmetic but the AFDs are vastly outnumbered by AFS/AFP lenses. The AFD lenses that ARE valuable enough to bring forward (300/f2.8 AFD, etc) are small in number. _____

The phone's sensors are unmodified. The IR filter pushes the native iPhone camera into Night Mode, and the computational photography wizardry behind Apple's native camera app produces the exposures you see here -- easily hand-held with the phone's stabilization.

  9. Z9 worrying behaviour (GBaylis) - Nikonians

GBaylis Nikonian since 12th Sep 2012. Thu 27-Jun-24 01:43 AM. Up until last week, in the 26 months that I've had my Z9, I think that I've only experienced one lockup - when a power off/on restored order. Last week, I had a complete lock up which required me to release and reload the battery to get going again.

  10. Problems with a Nikon Z5's EVF. (RichPate)

    www.nikonians.org/forum/topic/477-12872-12872/problems-with-a-nikon-z5-s-evf-

In a high contrast situation, Landscape or Vivid can have far too much contrast which makes highlights too bright and shadows too dark. Even Standard can be too much in bright light, so Neutral may be a better option while you are learning the camera. #4. "RE: Problems with a Nikon Z5's EVF."

  11. XQD vs. CFexpress? (doclrb) - Nikonians

    www.nikonians.org/forum/topic/464-14337-14337/xqd-vs-cfexpress-

Hi Les I would not expect the CFExpress cards to be faster in your D500 - or in the D850. They were slightly slower in the Z6 - about 5-8% which translated into a difference of 1 frame in the maximum burst length.
